The Original Los Angeles Flower Market, serving So Cal since 1921, is a 50,000 sq. ft. marketplace home to over 50 independent flower vendors. It’s located in the famous Los Angeles Flower District (the single largest and most successful wholesale floral district in the entire USA) in downtown LA.
This LA spot is a sweet haven for any flower lover or nursery connoisseur – there’s everything from daisies, roses, lilies, hydrangeas, tulips, orchids – you name it, they got it. The whole experience was somewhat overwhelming because there are SO many choices and I really don't know much about flowers other than that they're pretty, haha. After making my way around the warehouse (and trying to stay out of the way of the many people who meant BUSINESS with their flower carts…I almost got ran over more than once) and checking out all of the bright and beautiful flowers, I decided on a bundle of colorful roses for $3.85. This vibrant spot is located at 754 Wall St., Los Angeles, CA 90014. There’s plenty of metered parking on Wall St., the side streets nearby, and also a parking lot on roof of the flower market. Visit the LA Flower Market website by clicking here for open hours and admission prices ($1-$2 depending on the day).
